barrobag 002

Invented in Kent by founder Louise, the barrobag® conveniently allows you to carry small garden tools and equipment when using a wheelbarrow without the risk of losing tools hidden amongst the pulled weeds, garden waste and debris.

The barrobag® is unique and the first garden tool bag designed specifically to fit onto a wheelbarrow.  Other garden bags only have standard, short carrier-bag style, handles that don’t stretch to fit over wheelbarrow arms leaving the bag and its tool pockets pulled tightly out of shape and impractical to use with the wheelbarrow.

Every gardener and wheelbarrow should have one!

About Us

Introducing the barrobag®

Louise Henderson has been gardening since she was a child and is always on the look-out for products and ideas that make a day’s work in the garden easier and ever more enjoyable.   She designed the barrobag® out of necessity and sheer frustration trying to use standard tool bags with her wheelbarrow.

She says: "I often used to put tools into a wheelbarrow which were then covered and hidden under the weeds and debris as the wheelbarrow filled up.  This meant wasting time searching through the debris every time I needed a different tool and I have often thrown away secateurs and tools because they were mixed up with the weeds etc. when emptying the wheelbarrow.

"After making the very first barrobag® for myself and using it daily, I realised how extremely practical and useful it really was.  It keeps my tools clean, organised and quick to find.  There are so many gardeners out there who would be pleased to have one and the barrobag® makes the perfect gardener’s gift."

Meet the woman behind the barrobag®

The barrobag’s extra-long and large looped handles, strategically placed at each end of the bag, easily allow the bag to slide on to the wheelbarrow leaving it hanging in shape with easy access to your garden tools.

The pockets have room for all your accessories such as tools, labels , twine, scissors and ties and the centre pocket is large enough to carry pots and trays.  Of course, it still has the two extra carrying handles for manually carrying small garden equipment around your flower beds without the wheelbarrow.

The barrobag® has six pockets and measures 60cm x 40cm x 22cm and is made from washable 100% cotton canvas.
